If you are having trouble losing weight one of your mistakes may be the time you eat before bed. If you are eating dinner right now that means you need at least another 2 or 3 hours to past before you go to sleep. Eating right before bed doesn't give your body the time it needs to burn those calories from the day's final meal and lots of times you wake up still filling full from the previous night causing you not to eat breakfast, another bad practice. Start planning your final meal around your normal bed time. Chances are good that you will wake up a bit more famished than usual turning you into a crazed refrigerator pirate. This is OK as long as you are wise with your breakfast choices. If your bed time is 10:00 PM try finishing your final meal of the day around 7:30 PM. This 2.5 hour space between eating and sleeping could be the difference in being successful at weight loss or not.
